2: Homologous

THERAPIES, ACTIVITIES, AND THEMES FOR ATTRIBUTES SHARING COMMONALITIES ASSOCIATED WITH HOMOLOGOUS NEUROPHYSIOLOGY

Relatively recently, in the history of life on our planet, some Living Things discovered utility in movement. This event marks the emergence of Animals. Originally these movements were expansion and contraction along their central axis. In our bodies, these primal “Homologous” patterns enabling movement, where the upper body acts with the lower body as is observed in how infants “scoot” before they master crawling. When Homologous movements have not fully developed, all of the more complex forms of movement emerge compensating for and adapting to the insufficiency. Incomplete development can express in our physical form, how we move, our behavior, our sensory processing, and even our conscious cognitive processes. The therapies, activities, and themes elucidated below are oriented to encourage further maturation of Homologous movement patterns:

If Homologous was indicated from the survey as a primary area of focus these therapeutic interventions will have greater priority:
THERAPIES

If Homologous was indicated from the survey as a primary area of focus these activities will have a greater therapeutic benefit:
ACTIVITIES

Contextual conversations can have profound therapeutic benefits. If Homologous was indicated from the survey as a primary area of focus this section offers contextual parameters for engaging conversationally within these guidelines:
THEMES

After working with the items in this section for some time, it is recommended to consider adding therapies. activities, and themes from the Conscious Action section to encourage the integration of the increased competency in these automaticities with our conscious, intentional (Neo-Cortical) actions:
